Q. How far in advance should reservations be made?
A. Occupancy varies depending on events in the area. Please
contact the Innkeeper to check availability.
Q. Do you require a deposit?
A. A deposit for the first night is required to confirm
your reservation.
Q. Are there discounts available?
A. We offer a discount for special occasions and UAM
related events.
Q. What are check-in and check-out times?
A. Check-in is between 1-3 p.m. and check-out is at 11:00am.
Noon, if advance notice is received, special arrangements
can be made to accommodate early arrivals, if possible.
Q. Is there a minimum stay requirement?
A. No. Stay as few or as many nights as you like.
Q. Is smoking permitted in rooms?
A. The UAM Trotter House is smoke free, however, smoking is
allowed on our porch that wraps around the house.

Q. How far are you from town?
A. We are located just 1 block from historic downtown. See

Q. Where is the nearest airport?
A. The closest airport is Monticello Municipal for small
jets and private planes approximately 2 miles from the UAM Trotter
House. The closest Regional Airport is Little Rock National
Airport located approximately 90 miles north of Monticello.

Q. What packages do you offer?
A. None at this time.
Q. Do you have Jacuzzis?
A. The Magnolia Room is equipped with a Jacuzzi.
Q. Is there daily maid or linen services?
A. Our policy is to provide you with a maximum amount of
privacy, however we will provide fresh towels and bed make-up
service daily.
Q. Do the rooms have phones?
A. Each room has its own phone with voice mail. Fax service
is also available.
Q. Are pets allowed?
A. Sorry, we do not have facilities for pets.
Q. Is the Trotter House wheelchair accessible?
A. Yes, a ramp is provided, as well as an elevator to the
Cypress guest room.
Q. What parking facilities are available?
A. Free, well-lit, private parking is available in a secure,
gated area located behind our inn.
